Kia ora, my name is Caitlin Manley and I am a Wellington based graphic designer, originally from Taranaki. I am a recent university graduate having majored in Visual Communication Design, completing a Bachelor of Design (Hons) from Massey University, College of Creative Arts in Wellington.
I have always been interested in anything to do with art my whole life, whether that may be painting, architecture, design or drawing. As I went through highschool I became more familiar and interested in graphic design, where in year thirteen I took NCEA level 3 design. This is when I decided design was something that I wanted to learn more about and study. Since coming to Massey, CoCA, I have developed my skills and knowledge further than I ever thought I could and am still learning more as I go. My main interests within design lie with advertisement, web design, branding and typography, but I also have varied skills in all areas of graphic design.
