DESIGNN, which stands for Design News, is a news website aimed towards New Zealanders.

For this project I designed a news website aimed to be easily accessible and functional for a range of users. Creating this based around four user journeys, two mobile and two desktop, with an end goal alongside each one to demonstrate the range of consideration that is necessary when designing accessable user experiences for multiple audiences.

To achive this I carefully considered how I utilised hierarchy, colour, typographic choices, as well as sizing and user needs. To cater to these user needs I created four personas to make sure I covered as many potential accessibility needs as I saw fit.
These four personas included...
‍An 80 year old retired women wanting to know more about graphic design as it is her daughters career.
A 20 year old design student who is researching for class.
A 50 year old graphic design university lecturer who frequently looks for new design news and trends to share with his students.
A 67 year old retired journalist who is looking for some graphic design news as it is something they haven't read before as they now have a lot of free time on their hands.

The approach I chose to use for this website is clean and minimalistic design aesthetic to ensure the easily accessible nature when navagating, while still adding in a bit of fun and a pop of colour to the header of the page, to also create some contrast and divide up the page a bit more, seperating it from the actual content of the website.
